This is a small rhino hat that was used with the Jean puppet. Jean becomes a rhinoceros on stage. The slots (by my thumb) fit over Jean's ears. The mask is so flexible that you can spring it wide to fit over Jean's head.
The paint is just latex with some artist's acrylic if needed. The strings hanging down have to be dyed by making a water wash with the paint.
