I glued a piece of cord to the puppet where I wanted the fabric to attach, and sewed some crushed velvet on. The hands are crudely sewn and stufffed with fiberfill.

And here is the tongue! It's a plastic wire-tie with a red satin sleeve over it. It goes through a curved tube and down his back. I work it with my left hand.
