Since 1989, Paul Rapp has represented and advised businesses, organizations and individuals in the creative sphere.

Paul Rapp has represented artists of every type, civic organizations, small businesses, and multinational corporations. Paul is a seasoned litigator, having represented various clients in state and federal courts in matters including copyright, trademark, the Visual Artists Rights Act, cybersquatting, defamation, civil rights, breach of contract, and commercial collections.
Since 1999, Paul has held the position of adjunct professor of law at Albany Law School, teaching Art & Entertainment Law and Copyright Law.
Paul is a member of the Graphic Artists Guild (GAG), and regularly appears on behalf of GAG as a member of The Copyright Forum on the WAMC-FM program VoxPop, answering listener questions regarding the protection of creative works.
Paul lectures regularly on intellectual property issues, and in 2003 and 2004 was a featured speaker at the Visual Art and the Law conference in Taos and Santa Fe, New Mexico.
Paul writes regular columns for the art magazine The Artful Mind and for Voices, the Journal of the New York Folklore Society. Paul is also a music and opera reviewer for Metroland Magazine.
Paul is a professional musician, playing drums for the rock band Blotto.
